Some anti-inflammatories, anti-bacterial, and anti-microbial properties in the ingredients can even help heal sores. 

Why Tallow?

Tallow is known for its unique composition which allows it to deeply moisturize our skin. These amazing moisturizing properties can be especially useful for combating chapped and dry lips. Beef tallow is rich in essential vitamins which have been shown to promote skin health and produce plump, smooth lips. Lips can be soothed with tallow because of its anti-inflammatory properties. Tallow is a lightweight oil and easily absorbed by the skin. It is a very useful friend for maximizing your skin's collagen production as it contains a rich array of the amino acids necessary for collagen production.

Why Coconut Oil?

Coconut oil is a deep moisturizer that can keep the lips soft and supple. It is also widely known for its anti-microbial properties, keeping the lips clean. The anti-inflammatory properties can reduce swelling from cracked, chapped lips.

Why EVOO?

Extra virgin olive oil helps to soften and protect the lips, while moisturizing. Vitamin E in olive oil protects the lips from free radical damage, meaning it creates a barrier stopping further cracked, chapped, and dried lips. 

Why Beeswax?

Beeswax not only moisturizes but it creates a barrier unlike any other oil. It stops the lips from further damage and helps to lock in the moisture. Beeswax also helps soothe the lips with its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties. 

Why Peppermint Essential Oil? (Additional ingredient in Peppermint Lip Balm)

Peppermint essential oil helps to increase blood flow to the lips, creating a lovely rose hue. Overall lip health is enhanced with peppermint essential oil. It soothes the lips with its healing properties while moisturizing.
