We are a small-scale hobby farm located in South-Western Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. On our farm we raise beef cows, chickens, quail, holland lop rabbits, and English bulldogs. I have always had a deep-rooted passion for animals and everything farm. Being able to use our own beef tallow, and other ingredients from local farms is something so special. Our goat milk is sourced from a lovely local herd of goats. Goat milk is rich and nourishing to the skin, so almost every bar of soap contains it or goat milk kefir (an ultra-rich fermented goat milk). Our buttermilk comes from a local Jersey cow herd. All of our ingredients are thoughtfully chosen, in an attempt to only put the best on your skin. We only use organic ingredients, each with a defined purpose in helping your skin.
My tallow skincare journey began when I started digging into the toxins in average Americans everyday life. Conventional soaps contain ingredients like harsh chemicals, preservatives, and fragrance, leaving the skin dry and disrupting hormones. After using tallow soap there was no going back. A short time later, I discovered tallow in whipped form. From there I researched extensively all of my "could tallow go in" thoughts which brought me to the products I have today. Not only is tallow an amazing oil for your skin, but you know exactly where it is coming from. All of our grass-fed beef tallow comes from our beef cows and another local beef herd during processing. The tallow then goes through a purification process, making it ready for use in our skincare products. I continue to expand my ideas with testing out tallow in different skin care products, so if you ever have ideas or want to create a custom product based off of what we already have, do not hesitate to contact me!
